We have been providing warmth to homes in Cumbria, Lancashire and West Yorkshire for over forty years. We proudly design and fit high quality, modern, antique and period fireplaces as well as supplying and installing solid fuel, gas and electric stoves to homes and businesses. We have a talented and highly trained team who aim to combine the highest quality products with exceptional customer service.
Bluestone, our parent company, has recently expanded to a new, large, state-of-the-art factory, also in Kendal, who specialise in producing bespoke worktop surfaces made from stone, quartz, corian, and wood. We source many of our hearths and surrounds from here.

Wide Range of High Quality Stoves
Stovax Ltd was established 1981, and is based at Exeter. They design, manufacture and distribute beautiful, high quality wood burning stoves.
The Stovax Group is the largest stove and fireplace producer in the UK, and has an extensive range of contemporary and traditional designs to meet client dexpectations and requirements. Stovax Gazco supply wood burning and multi fuel stoves, as well as gas and electric stoves and fireplaces.
At Firehouse, we have built a great, long standing relationship with Stovax, and have had many years of experience in both installing and maintaining their stoves.
BESPOKE FIREPLACES
We have a team of talented designers on hand, who are there to help you create your dream fireplace, which has been created just for you using only the finest materials.
Our designs are typically finished with traditional open fireplaces or efficient log burning and multi fuel stoves, which are then installed by one of our trained HETAS registered engineers. We provide a Gas Safe engineer to install gas stoves and fires.
