For easy transport, the Jøtul Loke can be purchased as a flat pack that can easily be assembled in 20-30 minutes or less and once assembled, at only 26 kg it can easily be moved about to the right spot according to the occasion when you want to entertain. Corten steel does not warp or deform as a result of the high heat and will last for generations, even with only basic care and maintenance. The Corten steel improves in appearance as it starts showing a rusty effect, without harming the integrity of the steel.

The Jøtul Loke has been designed to burn wood efficiently and produce lots of heat, which is also radiated from the steel surface, making it possible to either sit in front of the fire, or around it on the sides to keep warm.  The design also functions as a chimney to create the proper natural draft to keep the fire burning at high temperatures.
