This fireplace was designed by the well-known Dutch designer Roderick Vos. Vos means Fox in Dutch, and Fennek is a type of fox. Roderick has opted for clean sight lines where you can clearly see the 3mm plate thickness everywhere. The legs are fitted with large robust cap nuts and a stainless steel bolt is screwed in there so that the fireplace is free from the ground to avoid marking the below surface.

The side panels are provided with air gaps so that air can enter the combustion chamber in front of the glass keeping the windows clean.
